RVA Winter Puppetfest

Bring out the family for the 8th annual RVA Winter Puppetfest! The festival is presented by Puppets Off Broad Street and features live family-friendly performances and an exhibit of puppets designed and built by nationally known puppeteers based right here in Central Virginia.
CAN’T CATCH ME!, performed by BAREFOOT PUPPET THEATRE: Even the potholders come to life in this mixed-up retelling of “The Gingerbread Boy.” This heart-warming story of caretaking, sharing, and cookies is told with rod puppets and object puppets. The audience is able to participate in this interactive show with plenty of animal sounds — they can even name the cookies!
