Brookland Park Fest

November 9th, 2025, 1-5pm, Brookland Park Boulevard between Fendall and North Ave.
Brookland Park Fest is back! Experience Brookland Park with your favorite neighborhood businesses and community organizations. This free festival highlights the long-standing existing commerce alongside all the new faces on the Boulevard. Expect diverse culinary experiences from local vendors, live music and activities for all ages. Enter our ‘Brookland Park Fest’ Giveaway on Instagram to win one of three prize packages featuring gift certificates, classes and more from the Brookland Park business community.

Live Music: Featuring Mamie Lue, Andrew Ali and the Mainline, Daniel White Sound

Art & Culture: Alma’s, Unkindness Art, Nevermore Gallery, ILYSM Books, Nostalgia Tattoo, Brookland Park Flowers, Hand Thrown, Marble Moon Interiors
Family Fun: Bounce House, Bubbles and chalk for the kiddos, Mocktail workshop with Salt and Acid, Interactive Painting and Photobooth with Brandery Richmond
Community Organizations: Brandery, RVA Community Fridges, Capital Trees, Highland Park Garden Club, Battery Park Civic Association
Nostalgia Tattoo will feature a flash sheet of Brookland Park tattoo designs.
Alma’s will feature: Artist Rachel Rader with a pay what you can DIY blown fused glass ornament activity. Baker Scott Williams and his cottage bakery: Slash Bakehouse. Scott will be setting up with delicious sweet and savory treats for sale. Also, Sarah and John of Alma’s will be screen printing the Brookland Park logo. Bring your own T-shirt or tote and we will print it! Printed totes will be for sale as well.
Ninja Kombucha will be releasing a new infused switchel and having an after party & 10th anniversary celebration with local band Holy River 5-7pm.
Hand Thrown will be selling ceramic work from studio artists as well as doing a free magnet making workshop with the Brookland Park logo.
ILYSM will be giving out free books.
RVA Community Fridges will be outside painting a new fridge.
Salt and Acid will be doing an all ages mocktail workshop with pay what you can donation benefitting RVA Community Fridges.
About Brookland Park Fest:
Brookland Park Fest is an annual celebration dedicated to highlighting the neighborhood’s business corridor and bringing the community together. Since its inception in 2014, founded by BPAA and its president Willie Hilliard, the festival has been a neighborhood mainstay that locals look forward to annually. This year’s Fest is especially exciting with over a dozen new businesses in the area.
